Spotted in a general museum today. No info tag for it.

Probably English.  We were the only ones who thought the Bb to C trill was more important than a usable chalumeau B, C# or Eb.

I've never played one though.  Perhaps you can get a better throat G# with it too.  The best you can do on a 5 key is usually just the speaker key alone.

With those square pads probably 1830-1850 or so.

Pretty neat example! I've never gotten a chance to play a boxwood clarinet, though
