Rosenwald Double Clarinet A & B
« on: March 09, 2016, 09:37:32 AM »
2 Clarinets one case
A Rosenwald Kopenhavn  with an "A" above the name
and
A Rosenwald Kopenhavn with A "B" above the name
2 sections  about 10" - 10 1/2"
and 2 sections about 9 - 9 1/2"
I would like to identify this a bit more
I have several instruments from an estate of a  yamaha engineer who was a instrument collector

I'll say 1880s or 1870s for this, on account of the boxwood wood used.

I wish those keys weren't missing...

It looks like the wood is boxwood.

Albert system clarinets are not as desirable these days but since it's a matched set i would say it would sell for up to $500.

Ebay is probably the best place to sell.

I think that's definitely a fair price.  Good luck!
