Phil has effectively removed image size restrictions for image uploads. This way you won't have to resize your images first, making things easier for everyone.

I don't believe SMF has the ability to host videos in-thread. Best best for now is to post Youtube videos!

I find some of the pictures are very large on my phone and I find myself having to scroll both ways to see it all. I always resize my photos out of habit

They are overly huge on my laptop screen. They could be half the size or less, and still have equally good visual resolution.
