Looking for a decent used alto clarinet

I'm new to this forum, but not new to clarinets! I am looking to add to my "arsenal" a decent previously owned alto clarinet. Any suggestions and/or leads would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Welcome, and we are glad you stopped in. 

I only have one alto, (A Pedler) so I cannot comment objectively. I have large hands but not "catcher's mitts" by any means, and ergonomically I feel it is very good.  Some notes are a slight stretch for me, in fact.  The thumbrest, however, is murder.

I suspect someone with a more diverse exposure can assist you with selection.  Ergos are critical, and should be considered carefully. 

I will say that I appreciate a coverplate system for larger horns.
