Is this even a Clarinet?

It has no bell, unless that little snub end is a bell. It could be missing it's bell, but then it wouldn't have a removable mouth piece.

Hard plastic. No markings, save "B 22958" which is stamped at the bottom of both pieces.

Someone musically trained figures it's a clarinet. I have no clue

This is a conservatory Oboe.
The "snub end" is the receiver for the double reed.

I do not see linkage for a bell key, so I think it is not a full conservatory model, and believe any replacement bell that fits will suffice.

I can't be sure, but I think that oboe is a plastic Bundy.
