Title: Contrabass Clarinet Bell
Post by: DaveLeBlanc on January 09, 2013, 04:46:55 PM
I have noticed that some c-bass clarinets have a TINY bell...  Why is this?
Contra Alto clarinets have a bell that is proportional in size to the large size of the body and the long neck...  However, the C-bass has a very long neck and body but a bell slightly larger than that of a regular bass...

Any partiular reason for this horrendously top-heavy look?
