It looks very nice!  What are the bore sizes on the upper joint?  Is it a straight bore?

I should of taken a picture of it next to something for scale, it’s so small!  I watched people playing curved sopranos on youtube videos, but until i got it in my mitts, i didn’t grasp how small it really is!  The cool thing is, it’s the right height for me to just rest it on my knee while seated.  I still put on a neckstrap, because i’m such a clutz i don’t want to drop it, but it wasn’t needed for playing while seated.

I'd like to play saxophone, but because of my job, my neck and wrists are sore a lot of the time and I'm finding my alto too heavy.  I thought the lesser weight of a soprano sax might fill the bill, so I've been looking for one for a while now. 
I ended up finding a closet queen on Reverb. A silver 1920's Wurlitzer American curved soprano, a Buescher stencil, with a Selmer scroll shank C mouthpiece.  It's in great shape, plays well for my feeble skills, with decent pads, only needing one spring replaced and new neck cork.  I'm very happy with it.  The case is nice and doesn't smell.

The platter is a nice idea.  I've been using a magnetic mechanics tray.  Its helpful to keep a hold of those tiny screws and rods.

I’m interested in how the triples work for you.  I have many clarinets needing new pads.  I’ve got some die cut synthetic ‘leather’pads, and some simple bladders that came as part of a package deal with repadding tools i bought.
A little over five bucks certainly isn’t a big deal, it would be money welll spent if they’re an improvement over normal bladders.

Those keys turned out beautiful!  shiny, but a mellow shine, if that makes any sense.

This link is to a really nice article talking about pads, well worth reading.  According to it, sheep’s bladder is what is used for bladder pads, and are also called fish skin pads.  It covers most types, cork, synthetic, bladder.  It does not talk about leather.
