Sorry, Dave! Managed to miss your question. Both of the Marbeaus I\'ve had have been Boehm. One is my favorite and the other was damaged so much that it became a victim of and \"art attack\". They are both on Phil\'s site.

nice collection tehre Gkern!

and bbrandha - 1915 seems to be a pretty early date for a boehm!  (or maybe not... i\'m not really sure but many alberts it seems were from teh 1920s and before)

Well, that\'s a rough guess. I was just told that the wrap-around octave stopped being made around then.

Oh right!  I looked at the pictures on the website.  It appears that he wrap around was a passed on by the Albert, into early boehms.  But then there\'s that one 1840 boehm on Phil\'s website that throws all thoughts out the window!

Just added  a V. Kohlert Sons Graslitz Bb LP Clarinet (1930\'s) to my collection, being shipped now.  Really looking forward to this horn, it is one of Vytas \"diamonds in the rough\" (found on another forum).

Didn\'t live up to my expectations, just an OK horn.

Upon further review, the 1920 G. Penzel is a Penzel-Mueller.  The logos are so worn they are real hard to see, but with the right light and a magnifying glass, I am able to identify it. ;)

Make a list of your current clarinet inventory and answer the questions:
(1) can you ever have too many?
(2) what one clarinet would you love to find and make room for?

So glad to see others own multiple clarinets and play every one of them if they are playable......

I started back playing after a fifty year layoff (played in high school band)

Bought a Evette & Schaeffer Master model clarinet in March of 2012 after I retired at age 62 in 2010. Here are the rest.

1960 Noble model 40
1970 Noble model 27
1940 Eddie Kivlan (beleve it is a Buescher)
1960 Vito Reso Tone
1910 Fernand Chapelain
1948 Selmer series N
1920 Regent metal by Ohio Ban Instruments
1970 Yamaha YCL34 currently for sale on Ebay
1960 Selmer Signet 100
Normandy 5

Just bought a Chapelain metal clarinet off Ebay

Refurbished and sold:
HN White American Standard metal
Noblet Metal
Normandy 8, 10
Noblet D/N

And of course I bought a drawer full of mouthpieces and reeds to experiment with on the various clarinets.

I am currently seeking a \'Clarinets Anonymous\'  group to see if I may be in need of some therapy for hording :D

Would like to own a new Buffet R13

Anyway, I love tinkering and playing the clarinets I buy and sell :)

Raysnuffer - if you happen to find such a group, please let me know. I would join it with the mind set that the \"therapy\" would take a long time to help me:exclamation:
