Confirm/help identify Noblet?
« on: June 23, 2019, 06:34:49 AM »
I've done a little research on this myself but I'd like someone to maybe confirm what I've found since I am far from an authority on vintage clarinets. I have an old Noblet clarinet that has the oval logo which makes me think it's pre-1960. The serial number is 11570 so I doubt is from the 40's or even early 50's. In my research I read something about the trill keys being on either the same post or different posts being a marker of certain production years as well as whether the C#/G# key is on its own post. I also saw that the left pinky keys sharing a post might mean an early 20th century model but mine has separate posts.

My guess is this is a late 50's or maybe a 1960-62 clarinet. Does anyone have any other info? I've included pictures but I can take more if you want other angles.

Thanks!
