Picked this one up pretty cheap, they don't seem to go for a lot. Information on them is just about zero on their origin and about anything else you may want to know about them as far as I am able to find out. I dont think it is as hard to identify the maker as say a Lafayette or maybe Carl fisher.
I'm not too knowledgeable about key work from different manufacturers so if it is a stencil I wouldn't be able to attribute it to anyone. By the over all condition I wouldn't think it made much later than 50-60's time frame. It is serialized 3669 on both joints. It was receiver pretty clean, there are a few minor cracks most at the top of the lower joint. I think that is common. It is missing the ring for whatever reason. 2 small bell cracks as well. There is little to no rust on any of the metal which is a nice thing.
I am not able to find any records of a H Landau for instrument makers, though a town which flip flops between Germany and France is named Landau but that seems a non issue. There are other people of note with the last name of Landau but none of those I found fit. Any information would be helpful.
