CONN(?) Alto Clarinet "Made in France"

Does anyone know who in France made the alto clarinets for CONN? The (rust/brown) case looks like a mid 60's Selmer or Noblet case. Truth is, I'm only about 98% sure it's a CONN stencil, there is a repair band right over the brand stamp but I can make out the familiar Conn Director marching band figures, so it's an educated guess at best.

Probable Malerne. I had a Conn hard rubber bass that had the very sterotypical "Made in France" logo (sort of in a curve or bow shape) that pointed towards Malerne.

Thank you Dave! Would the same apply to a wooden instrument? Meaning did Marlene also make wood alto clarinets or just hard rubber?

Marlene made a bunch of stuff, in all materials. I once had an M Lacroix bass clarinet, wood, that was a Malerne stencil.
As for Conn. can’t say if malerne made wood stencils for them, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did
