Royal Artist - Paris, France
« on: April 18, 2021, 05:26:13 PM »
Hello. I am trying to find some information such as the age and the value of an old clarinet I have. It is stamped with the name Royal Artist, Paris, France. Low Pitch B. It has a reed in a small envelope that reads, The Bain Music Company, Auburn, New York.
I haven't been able to find any info and would really appreciate any feedback you  could provide. I will try and attach photos also. Thank you

Unfortunately, as with 99% of French-sounding names you can't find any info on, value is around $50 unrestored and up to $200 restored.

There’s a single post for LH pinky keys so really no later than 1923. The case looks more 10’s; but it’s a Boehm system so let’s call it 1915-1918 or so

Thank you Dave for the info. More than what I originally knew about it.  :)
