my daughter started on and used all thu school till grad uation a normandy resonite plateau  and the clueless band directors never even noticed. every director was a brass player. i have in my collection a martin fereies wood platteau with mother of pearl key touches. its a think of beauty but only an average player. the normandy plays much better. i have a second normandy i found long ago in a pawn shop that i plan to restore myself=hopefully.

You have a plateau with MOP key touches? That's very unusual, and could be a real collector's item. Could you post some pics here?

The Normandy plateaus are some of the best, if not THE best plateaus out there.

Dan, if you are willing, please send pics to my email directly and I can post them here.

I would LOVE to see those MOP keys. I've never seen one like it. Could be pretty unique.
