Yes, it is! Some old technician of woodwind said that in old times they were modifying the chamber to be bigger!
You can see also the 2 attached video on the previous one where I play using Bamboo, Plastic reeds , wireless mic amplification and piezo in barrel (this one I didn;t like it is deep and bass!!!!)
