Tom - have you tried a variety of MPs? I found my optimum MP for my C only by trying a bunch of them.

No, to be honest, I have used the Vandoren 5RV for about 20 years and the defunct V360 the 20 before that. That's about the 40+ years I've owned the C clarinet, so used those two mouthpieces. I experimented with several mouthpieces prior to that 40 years, but didn't own the C then.
I never gave a thought to an mouthpiece playing any differently on Bb, A or C clarinets.
