Pierre Dumont

[EasyG]

I recently bought a Clarinet Case and it came with a Pierre Dumont (Paris) clarinet.  Anyone know anything about this line of Clarinets?

The upper has a metal sleeve.

I similarly have a metal clarinet with René Dumont (Paris) on it. It was complete with metal barrel, mouthpiece with lig and case. Listing title mentioned "Reverbohm", got it with bid $25 US, $66 total to my door. Info is sparse. Read somewhere was used by US military bands maybe 70 - 80 years ago. Was told possibly a stencil. It has modern Boehm keying. No where does "Reverbohm" show up on the case or item, only the René Dumont name on the bell.

Good stuff on ebay
Unfortunately eBay expires listings a few weeks after item closing.

So, were Pierre, Jean and René Dumont related and came from the same factory? Factory location has been a mystery, too.
