Paul Buescher?

Have any of you ever seen one of these?  There is no relation to Gus Buescher, I dont believe, and the appointments point to a post-1938 build. Curious.  Almost picking up where Gus left off.  I don't believe Gus ever built a clarinet with Harry Pedler--at least during their partnership together.  I think 1931 marked the end of woodwinds for two men whose names would live on in woodwind shops they founded, without their input.

So who is the fellow?

Paul Beuscher is a music store and publisher in Paris that's been in business since the 1850s. At one time, they put their name on instruments they had made for them.

No relation to Gus Buescher, although it often throws people for a loop when a Paul Beuscher-stenciled saxophone turns up. The saxes have been made by Dolnet and by B&S (and probably others at various times, too).
